Overview

Microsoft Project training at PPSS is a single-day general course. It is instructor-led, with software access provided, and is intended for people who need to use Microsoft Project on project work rather than Primavera P6. Public dates can be attended live online or at the Brisbane office. Other dates, and delivery at your office, are arranged on enquiry.

  • Project managers and coordinators using Microsoft Project
  • Team members who need to build or update a Microsoft Project plan
  • People moving onto a project that uses Microsoft Project rather than P6

Prerequisites

  • No prior Microsoft Project experience required
  • Basic project and task understanding helpful
  • Comfort with Windows desktop applications helpful

What you’ll be able to do

  • Navigate a Microsoft Project plan and locate key schedule information
  • Build and maintain a working task list with durations and relationships
  • Track progress and produce basic plan outputs for the project team

Delivery

  • Online instructor-led

    Live virtual delivery for distributed teams or individual public seats.

  • Brisbane classroom

    In-person delivery for local public courses and small cohorts.

Kurt Stevens teaches the public and private P6 courses at PPSS. He previously taught Primavera Basic, Advanced and Administration at Primavera Australia, has delivered training under contract to Oracle, and still works as a planner on live projects.
